Invited by Fjällräven, Maya completed a 110 km expedition over six days in the High Arctic, fully immersing herself in the brand’s philosophy and testing its products in one of the world’s most demanding environments. Throughout the journey, she captured compelling visual content that brought the experience to life across social media.

A 20-day expedition along the Amazon River, covering over 1,000 km in support of Sea Shepherd’s campaign to study and protect pink river dolphins and tucuxis. The project combined field documentation, visits to local communities, and educational outreach on the importance of these species to the ecosystem, alongside the production of photography and a short documentary capturing the journey

Social Media Manager Epic Polar Arctic & Antarctica Expeditions
For the past three years, Maya has worked with Epic Polar, a specialist in polar travel, as their photographer, blog writer, and social media manager, creating visual and written content that captures the essence of polar exploration.
During this time, she has travelled extensively across both regions, with three expeditions to the Arctic, including Svalbard and the Northwest Passage, and three voyages to Antarctica across a range of itineraries, documenting the diversity and scale of these remote environments.
